Literally the talk of every party this weekend.

This race is better than Gossip Girl. xoxo

The last 18 months have led up to Barack Obama accepting the nomination on the 45th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech.

Obama is authentic, a good man, on the Up and Up. Michelle is mad cool too.

“…at defining moments like this one, the change we need doesn’t come from Washington. Change comes to Washington. ”

Tonight’s speech.

I’ve made my preference clear, but this week is about party solidarity and moving forward. Clean Slate ‘08™. Onward.

- Brooks & Dunn though? Really? Haha had to get one in.

Shearwater - Rooks

when the rooks were laid in piles
by the sides of the road
crashing into the aerials
tangled in the laundry line
and gathered in a field
they were burned in a feathering pyre
with a cold black eye

when the swallows fell from the eaves
and the gulls from the spires
and starlings in the millions
will feed on the ground where they lie
the ambulance men said there’s
nowhere to flee for your life
so we stayed inside
and we’ll sleep until
the world of man is paralyzed

Oh the falcon heir awakes
to the sound of the bells
they’re heading southbound
they’re leaving it alive
and each empty cage just rings
and is heard like a bell
underneath these cold stars
and this troubled night
and the cries of man
let the kingdom come to nigh
let this dream be realized

So much for the Straight Talk Express, John McCain is getting weird….

Tonight is going to be interesting!

Why is this story being buried? Putin accuses U.S. of orchestrating Georgian war

**Oh who am I kidding? I’m a shitty cynic. New York I Love You comes out one day before Valentine’s Day. I want to see this film on a date!

You dream of interviews like this - watch here.*
Does she sound “bitter?” Experience speaks to me too.

This race is fascinating and personal to all.

Sen. Edward Kennedy was inspiring, recovering from brain tumor surgery. Michelle Obama is doing an amazing job, one can only imagine the pressure on her. Her relationship with Barack feels like a true partnership and the girls, omg. So cute.

Bill up tomorrow…

Happy 88th anniversary, sister.

*Many Gawker commenters saying the delegate was an actress. Odd to me, as many Obama supporters threw their support behind him because he made them feel. Hillary’s race was terribly flawed in many ways, including catering to convention. Still, why is it so fantastic to think someone would be moved by her? I obviously don’t know for sure, but with barbs like that no wonder PUMA is a word.
