I love the sweet spot before an album comes out, when you dream Björk might top Homogenic this time. In most cases the want is better than the get. It is the great unknown potential of grand pleasure that is intricately tied to the value of said item in your heart. That being said, the new Radiohead album drops Oct 10 (details). So soon! It’s called In Rainbows (love).
The discbox costs 40£; but the download comes earlier and is pay what you wish (plus a transaction fee). Radiohead is once again shaking up the already shaky industry tree by forcing a discourse on the value of music. Would I have paid more for The Bends and OK Computer, than for Kid-A or Hail to the Thief?
Definitely one to watch.
